Director Ameer has filed a complaint with the Chennai Police Commissioner against Studio Green and Gnanavel Raja! Ameer has expressed that his 'Paruthiveeran' is being dubbed and released in Telugu as 'Palanti Veerdu' and he's being denied the royalty he deserves!
Ameer also expressed that after Studio Green backed out from producing the film half way through, he took it up as his venture and the film was produced under the 'Team Work' banner. Ameer also has it that he deserves 25% as a royalty being the author of the project.
Meanwhile, Gnanavel Raja has reportedly told that he'll be filing a defamation case against Ameer! "IT IS A matter of sub-judice, I'LL BE filing a defamation case on Ameer".
According to the Writers' Association Ameer is entitled to the royalty.
