Now the newest buzz is that B-town's premium production banner Yash Raj Films goes to remake its most loved film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' into south languages.
The film that raked in moolah in 2010, stars Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. The film was well acclaimed and its fresh, lead pair had become favourites among youngsters. In step with sources, YRF is very keen to remake the film but as of now has not sealed any plans.
If sources are to be believed, BBB's remake - Tamil, Telugu and Kannada - will soon go on floors and the project may have new faces within the languages!
Although there are several south filmmakers who're lined up for the film's remake, YRF has not confirmed about selling its rights to anyone.
Not only BBB, the banner could also be considering remaking its other popular films 'Bunty Aur Babli' (Abhishek Bachchan-Rani Mukherji) and 'Dil To Pagal Hai' (Shahrukh Khan - Madhuri Dixit - Karisma Kapoor) in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
