IG had reported a couple of backs back that 'Kochadaiyaan', Superstar Rajinikanth's next venture, might be made in English also, in conjunction with Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions, as plans are directly to release the movie everywhere in the world.
Now the excitement is that the multi-crore extravaganza may have a Japanese version too, because the 'Thalaivar' has a large fan following in there. "IT WILL LIKELY BE a real global venture in all aspects," sources say.
Shooting for the movie is anticipated to start out in London later this month. Recently, K S Ravikumar, who's helping Soundarya R Ashwin in directing the flick, offered prayers on the temples of Tiruttani and Tirupati for the project's success.
Deepika Padukone have been roped in to play the heroine, with Sarath Kumar, Aadhi, Rukmini, Nasser and Shobana doing other crucial roles. Music is by A R Rahman. This may occasionally be the primary film in India to be made on 3D using performance capturing technology.
