In a sudden turn of events, Kushboo is probably not attending a conclave being organised by the United Nations in Nairobi on March 15. She is going to stay at home to deal with her mother-in-law, who's undergoing a surgery across the same time.
"It is actually unfortunate that i'm unable to wait the conference. But what to do? Family comes first to me always and i've to appear after my mom-in-law. I'VE mailed the UN, expressing my inability to wait the event," she says.
The actress-turned-politician adds: "I'M sure that I MAY get such opportunities sooner or later. But I'VE just one mother-in-law and that i feel it as my inevitable duty to offer her moral support at this point of time. I REALLY LIKE her a lot."
Kushboo, who was actively campaigning for the DMK candidate within the Sankarankovil by-election, has also cut-short her campaigning plan and returned to Chennnai after the surgery date was fixed suddenly. The actress is married to director Sundar C and is mother of 2 girl children.
