Make way for Kuruksastra XII, an annual cultural fest by the Sastra University in Thanjavur. That is the sixth edition and it's scheduled to happen between March 22 and March 25.
Through the years Kuruksastra has carved a distinct segment for itself and has proved to be probably the greatest cultural festivals in India. It was initiated for strengthening the soft skills of individuals, to emphasise at the want to value the culture and tradition of our country. In fact, earlier editions of Kuruksastra have witnessed the participation of over 102 colleges from in and around TN!
The Pro-Nite has always been the highlight of the cultural fest and has seen performances by several first-class music personalities like Shankar Mahadevan, Karthik, Naresh Iyer, Benny Dayal, Mahathi, Suchi, Rahul Nambiar and pa Shalini.
This time, new additions to the fest include the Fusion Nite and various innovative events within the fields of performing arts and literature.

Evening 1 -March 21 - Host Performance by the SASTRA Music Team
Evening 2 -March 22- Choreo Night featuring Western and Eastern finalists Guest performances by the SASTRA Dance Team and Mimicry by artiste K7
Evening 3 - March 23- Fusion Night featuring Rajesh Vaidhya (veena player)
Evening 4 -March 24- Vijay Prakash and Stephen Devassy together on stage
Evening 5 - March 25 - Karthik with Bennet and the band
