Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Ajith's forthcoming biggie 'Billa 2' will see a delay in release, way to the unofficial strike within the industry that has changed the discharge dates of most Tamil films.
Although the makers had announced that the prequel entertainer will grace worldwide screens on April 27 as a pre-treat to Ajith's birthday that falls on May 1, it's now widely buzzed that the film will only see a release within the second half May as a result of extensive post-production work.
Producer Sunil Kheterpal has expressed this on his microblogging page.
The film was initially slated for an April 13 release as part of Tamil New Years' but Karthi's political satire 'Saguni' is now touted to release then. 'Billa 2's trailer might be unveiled within the fag end of March and the music will release mid April.
'Billa 2' will unravel how David (Ajith), a commoner from the coastal regions, goes directly to become probably the most dreaded dons on the earth. This high voltage action entertainer has Ajith in some daredevil stunts and is among the most awaited projects, especially after blockbuster 'Mankatha' that audience are still smitten with.
