Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Kamal Haasan's pet project, 'Viswaroopam', might be competing on the Cannes Film Festival! A NUMBER ONE Mumbai tabloid has reported this at the side of a quote from the Ulaganayagan himself.
"At the instant I WILL NOT discuss my plans for Cannes because we're really trying hard to finish the film on time. But yes, Cannes film festival is eager on having Viswaroopam and i'm in constant touch with Christian Jeune from the film fest, she's keeping a track of our progress", says Kamal chatting with a media house.
The Cannes festival starts in mid May and it's said that Kamal is making an attempt his best to wrap the shooting of this film by mid March and kick-start post production work. A lil' birdie further tells that the Cannes Film Festival has extended its deadline to incorporate this film.
The film has Pooja Kumar cast opposite Kamal whereas Rahul Bose might be seen with negative shades. Music is by Shankar Eshaan Loy.
