Krishna starrer 'Kazhugu' has bagged a UA certificate from the censor board. A press note states that the censor board suggested some changes and offered a U certificate if the makers incorporate them, however the makers were all in favour of retaining those scenes and feature gone for a 'UA'!
"Usually filmmakers vie for a U certificate and take a look at to present several cuts to their A and UA films thus making it a U for purchasing more audience. However the makers of Kazhugu were keen that these scenes are retained for they would like the tale to achieve audience because it was planned to and didn't mind a UA certificate", says a source as regards to the development.
'Kazhugu' revolves across the lives of Krishna, Karunas and Thambi Ramiah who recover bodies of the dead, who're either accident victims or suicide victims. Bindhu Madhavi is cast opposite Krishna and the actress is pinning all her hopes in this film to for her big break in Tamil cinema.
'Kazhugu' will grace the screens come March 9.
