Director Karu Palaniappan, known to have made preferred films Parthiban Kanavu and Pirivom Santhipom, is busy working again and can be taking on the remake of Malayalam film Ordinary as his next project, titled Jannal Oram. The director recently confirmed at the news and likewise announced it's lead actors.
Ordinary is certainly one of 2012's biggest hits in Malayalam. The comedy drama directed by Sugeeth featured Kunchacko Boban, Biju Menon, Asif Ali and Ann Augustine and was appreciated by everyone. Now, Karu Palaniappan, after failing with an try to become a hero in Mandhira Punnagai, is taking the safe road instead with a remake. Vimal, Vidharth, Monisha and Poorna was confirmed to play the lead roles, while actor Parthiban may be playing a role.
