Close at the heels of the success of 'The Dirty Picture', Silk Smitha's life has become a favorite subject for some filmmakers.
While it's being claimed that the Tamil and Telugu versions of 'The Dirty Picture' are being planned, a Malayalam film at the yesteryear actress is prepared to get a kick start.
Titled 'Profile', the biopic of the yesteryear actress is penned by Antony Eastman, who introduced Silk to the Malayalam film industry. And Sana Khan was roped in to play the lead role.
The makers of 'Profile' say the script has no reference to 'The Dirty Picture'. The film could be helmed by Anil. "Unlike TDP, that is the unique version of Silk's life, since Antony Eastman was the one that launched the actress in Mollywood," says the director.
