Kavita Radheshyam re-loads Silk Smitha

It looks as if late Silk Smitha has become the flavour of the season and everybody's icon this season. Kavita Radheshyam who shocked everyone by going nude for a photoshoot, raising her voice against animal cruelty, has now released yet one more shocker!

Kavita Radheshyam, who's now selected as a Brand Ambassador for Smriti India (Save The woman Child) has get a hold of this photoshoot which she dedicates and pays a homage to south Indian actress Silk Smitha who committed suicide within the year 1996.

According to Kavita, "Silk Smitha was an actress who dared to make a mark of her own in a male dominating film industry. She was never from any filmy background, not a 'Star' daughter, never followed any lobby-ism or group-ism. Silk started as a small time make up artist in south cinema and went directly to become a celebrity in an excessively short period. I'M a large fan of Silk Smitha and want to salute and tribute my photoshoot to her".

Kavita further added "I CAN'T understand why persons are looking to talk or show Silk Smitha in a negative way, from what I'VE heard through my accurate sources from South, Silk was an overly right down to earth woman who went out of her option to help people in need. I met a producer whom I WILL NOT name, he had worked together with her and Silk didn't charge a single penny since the producer was in debt".

On the shoot, she says, "First of all, my team was in search of costumes for this shoot, Designer Babita Sharma worked for 15 days and she or he came up with this idea of wearing only a white shirt and getting the images done. For those who search Silk at the internet, you will see her mostly in a white shirt or a saree. My photographer Reena Khan and inventive Eswar both were kind enough to turn me Silk Smitha's cult Tamil hit film "Playboy". After some long discussions, I'LL feel that my designer Babita Sharma and my photographers Reena Khan and Eswar were scared in the event that they could do any justice to the photoshoot. But now, after seeing the results, all of us are more then happy. People literally started a comparison. A few of them also said that I WILL BE ABLE TO be today's Silk Smitha, that's an honor for me".

Kavita Radheshyam is awaiting the discharge of her upcoming Hindi feature film '5 Ghantey Mien 5 Crore'.
