Iniya appears to be the favorite selection of directors who want to make movies in rural backdrop. After Sargunam's 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' and Bharathiraja's 'Annakodiyum Kodi Veeranum', the actress has bagged another film set within the village milieu. Titled 'Ammavin Kaipesi', the film will mark the comeback of popular director Thangar Bachchan, who's known for emotional rural flicks reminiscent of 'Azhagi', 'Solla Marandha Kadhai' and 'Pallikoodam'. 'Ammavin Kaipesi', which revolves across the bondage between a mother and her son, could have Shanthanu Bhagyaraj because the protagonist. Interestingly, that is first time for the young actor to play a village youth. Says Iniya, "I'VE an excessively meaty role to play in Ammavin Kaipesi. I USED TO BE thrilled when Thangar Bachchan narrated the script to me. My character name is Selvi, who's looking ahead to her murai maman.'
