Director Vijay has revealed that Vikram is playing a police officer in 'Thaandavam'. "But this one might be a straight contrast to his earlier cop movies, including Saami," says the director of 'Madrasapattinam' and 'Deiva Thirumagal'.
Telugu hero Jagapathi Babu, who's doing a very important role, could also be playing a police officer on this movie being produced by UTV Movies. "Thaandavam may be a classy action entertainer on a grand scale," Vijay adds.
Stating that Anushka Shetty and Amy Jackson, who're playing the leading ladies, can have equal screen space, the director says both are doing very crucial roles that experience an impact at the script. Rumour mills even have it that Vikram may be playing a blind person in his scenes with Amy Jackson.
"We are done with the Chennai schedule. Now we're planning to transport to the us to shoot some important scenes. A location hunt is on at the moment and things gets shape in a week's time," Vijay says.
