That Suresh Krishna directed three biggest hits of Superstar Rajinikanth- 'Baashha', 'Annamalai' and 'Veera'- is understood to everyone. The acclaimed filmmaker is now moving into small screen.
He is wielding the megaphone for a mega serial titled 'Aaha', on the way to be aired from Monday to Friday on Vijay TV, from May 7. "IT IS GOING TO BE a romantic story so as to ring a bell among today's audience," sources say.
Remember 'Aaha' is a movie directed within the late 1990s by Suresh Krishna. "HOWEVER THE title has only been inspired. The tale is a fresh new one," sources say, adding: "Fresh faces has been roped in to play lead roles."
Karthik Raja is composing music for 'Aaha', while lyrics are by Pa Vijay. "Though this is a serial, it's being made similar to a movie by Suresh Krishna. Some important scenes were shot on a heavy budget in distant locales," sources conclude.
