S A C Chandrasekhar on Tuesday said no person has got the powers or rights to suspend him from the post of the president of Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC). "I WILL BE ABLE TO soon sue them and seek legal remedy," he said.
In his statement, SAC said he's in another country at this time and would approach the court immediately after returning India. "I USED TO BE elected because the president in a democratic manner after members voted me for the post," he said.
Stating that it was against the principles of the Council to conduct an emergency general body meeting without the consent of the president, Chandrasekhar said it was amounting to insult the members of the Council.
"If a specific office-bearer needs to be sacked, he have to be served a show case notice and his side of story need to be heard," added SAC.
