Multiple National Award winner, ace cinematographer, Santosh Sivan, is now the primary Indian to became a member within the prestigious American Society of Cinematographers (ASC)!
ASC membership is the most important honor to a cinematographer and it is a privileged club with the most productive of Hollywood talents as its members.
"Its like a dream come true to join the celebrated American Society of Cinematographers. I MUST thank all my directors, like Mani Ratnam, Priyadarshan and others", says the delighted multi-talented personality while talking to a media house.
It is alleged that Michael Chapman recommended Santosh's name after watching his works, 'The Terrorist' and 'Before The Rains'.
Santosh Sivan is currently engaged on 'Thupaki' helmed by AR Murugadoss starring Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal.
