At a time when a few of her peers are turning down a suggestion to play the lead role within the southern remake of 'The Dirty Picture', a biopic on Silk Smitha, Namitha has expressed her want to join the project.
"I feel I'M the simpler choice than anyone else to play this role," says the buxom beauty, adding: "I WOULD LIKE to play the lead character within the Tamil remake of The Dirty Picture".
Stating that she strongly feels that the role was tailor made for her, the 'Billa' and 'Yei' girl says she is even able to bring down her remuneration, if she is obtainable with the role.
"Vidya Balan did complete justice to the Bollywood version. I too will if I'M given an opportunity," says Namitha, adding that no person associated with the project had approached her up to now however.
