Kannan who forayed in Tamil cinema as a director with 'Jayam Kondan' celebrates his birthday today (July 21). He had also directed 'Kanden Kadhalai' and 'Vandhaan Vendraan'. He's currently engaged on 'Settai', the Tamil remake of 'Delhi Belly'. 'Settai' is taking shape in a quick pace and greater than 60% have been wrapped already. The following schedule will go on floors on August 20 in Mumbai at Bandra where huge sets are being erected. A song and few dialogue sequences may be canned here following which the team will leave for a foreign location. Starring Arya, Santhanam, Hansika Motwani, Anjali and Premgi Amaren, the film is an out and out laugh riot that was modified to fit the preferences of Tamil audience.
