With 'Billa 2' running strong, there is not any straight Tamil release within the box office this week. But there's something to quench the thirst of movie lovers, as 'The Dark Knight Rises', has hit the screens.
The latest within the Batman trilogy, 'The Dark Knight Rises' is being released in Tamil Nadu by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. Directed by Christopher Nolan, who co-wrote the screenplay together with his brother Jonathan Nolan and the tale with David S Goyer, the film relies at the DC Comics character Batman. The film is the third installment in Nolan's Batman film series, and is a sequel to 'Batman Begins' (2005) and 'The Dark Knight' (2008).
