Universal Music is back within the Tamil market after a 30 year hiatus with 'Manam Kothi Paravai'. The music house bought the audio rights of this film that has music by D Imman.
The album has five tracks including karoke that's crooned by Javed Ali, Chinmayi, Vijay Prakash and several other others. Lyrics are by Yugabharathi. 'Manam Kothi Paravai' starring 'Marina' boy Sivakarthikeyan is helmed by S Ezhil.
Says Imman, "As a composer, I'M happy and that i feel prestigious to be related to the world's primary music label for this film directed by Ezhil. I wish all of them the luck and success, praise God".
It could also be mentioned, last month the music label forayed in Mollywood. Universal also has plans for expanding business in south film and non - film music within the pipeline.
