Vazhthukkal that released in 2008 stars Madhavan and Bhavana within the lead roles and the film was quite a moist squib on the box office. The film is now releasing in Telugu as 'Prema Nilayam' in August by SV Maheshwara Reddy.
The film discusses the conflicting pulls and demands of affection and family. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the tunes and cinematography is by PL Sanjay and editing by K Pazhanivel.
Madhavan who was last seen in Vettai has taken a temporary break from acting way to a leg injury.
