'Kalakalappu', which marks Sundar C's comeback as a director, is releasing big this week. Starring Vimal, Shiva, Anjali and Oviya in lead roles, the movie produced by UTV Films has Santhanam in a pivotal character.
Says Sundar, "I'M happy to direct Kalakalappu, that is a fun-packed entertainer. The audience can come to the theatre smiling and walk away laughing. The forged and crew had co-operated well and i'm thankful to them."
Telugu film 'Gabbar Singh', starring Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan within the lead, could also be hitting the screens today. The purpose to be noted is that it's the remake of Bollywood hit 'Dabangg', which was remade in Tamil by Simbu as 'Osthe'.
