Renowned Hollywood filmmaker Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus' will release in 2D and 3D in India on June 8 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Ridley Scott who reinvented the action film genre with blockbusters such 'Alien' and 'Gladiator' offers his signature brand of action, thrills and scares and far more with 'Prometheus'.
The film marks Ridley's return to directing epic films and stars an all-power cast headed by Charlize Theron (Hancock) , Noomi Rapace (Sherlock Holmes), Michael Fassbender (X Men: First Class), Logan Marshall-Green, Idris Elba and Guy Pearce.
With 'Prometheus', Scott creates a groundbreaking mythology, during which a team of explorers find a clue to the origins of mankind on this planet which leads them on an exhilarating journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they ought to fight a terrifying battle to avoid wasting the way forward for the human race.
Set within the late 21st century, the tale centers at the crew of the spaceship Prometheus as they follow a celebrity map discovered a number of the remnants of several ancient Earth civilizations. Ended in world and a sophisticated civilization, the crew seeks the origins of humanity, but instead discovers a threat that would result in the extinction of the human race.
Filming happened almost entirely on practical sets and on locations in Canada, England, Iceland, Spain, and Scotland. The film was shot entirely using 3D cameras.
