Dhanush isn't any more just an actor, or a singer for that matter. The National Award winner is taking the avatar of a producer, with a movie titled 'Edhir Neechal'. Popular television star Siva Karthikeyan (of 'Marina' fame) and Priya Anand would be the lead actors.
Senthil, a former assistant of Vetrimaaran, is making his debut as a director with 'Edhir Neechal', a title which has apparently been inspired from a Nagesh starrer film of the yesteryear, directed by K Balachander.
Touted as a rom-com, the movie is predicted to have music by Anirudh, who made a shocking debut with '3' recently. Shooting is predicted to start out soon, after an official announcement comes from Dhanush.
"The film might be completed in a single go and it'll gear up for release by the third quarter of the year. Both Siva Karthikeyan and Priya Anand (of '180' and 'Vamanan' fame) are thrilled concerning the film," sources say.
