Walt Disney Pictures that has earlier presented epic films like '2012', 'Avatar' and 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' is back again with 'John Carter', for which they've shelved a whooping 1500 crore rupees! Rama Narayan's Sri Thenaandal Films Walt Disney Pictures at the side of UTV is releasing this film in Tamil as 'John Carter Maaveeran', on March 9.
The film is a sci-fi high voltage action entertainer that's in accordance with Edgar Rice Burrough's 'Barsoom' series. The film is ready John Carter, a former American Civil War Confederate Army captain who's mysteriously transported to Mars that may be known to its civilians as Barsoom.
While there, he understands that Barsoom is dying from the lack of water and atmosphere and an alliance of its inhabitants is what that may save Barsoom from destruction, whether Carter achieves this forms the crux of the plot of this commercial entertainer.
