Looks just like the search has come to an end. Till a couple of days ago, debutant director Kalyan Krishna was maintaining that he was yet to zero in on a heroine for his maiden venture 'Boologam', which has 'Jayam' Ravi within the lead.
Sources now say Trisha have been signed for the role. To be produced by Aascar V Ravichandran on a lavish budget, 'Boologam', an action entertainer, will feature 'Jayam' Ravi within the role of a kick-boxer.
"Names of a few top actresses were into account. Finally, Trisha has emerged the winner and the film will hit the floors on May 20. A grand set resembling a market area is being erected at a well-liked studio in Chennai for Boologam," sources say.
The total cost of the set is alleged to be around Rs 1.5 crore. Remember Aascar V Ravichandran is often known for spending heavily on his films and the budgets of Shankar's 'Anniyan' and Kamal Haasan's 'Dasavatharam' are examples to it.
