After a break, Shriya Saran is back in Kollywood. She's going to be seen playing the lead role in a Tamil-Kannada bilingual, titled 'Chandra'. It will likely be directed by Roopa Iyer.
Giving information about the movie, the director says, "The film is ready a final generation princess and the feelings she undergoes. It is going to be a fascinating love story and relies on reality. I'VE done enough research about princesses."
It is claimed that Roopa was initially considering having Divya Spandana because the heroine, but finally settled for Shriya.
This would be the 'Sivaji' actress's first full-fledged film in Sandalwood, as she was seen in a cameo earlier in a movie starring Puneeth Rajkumar.
