Karthi Sivakumar's forthcoming, 'Saguni', is red hot in trade as audiences are waiting with bated breath for a large release, way to the FEFSI - TFPC strike that brought films to a stand still.
The latest is that the theatrical rights of this film was sold for a record price of whooping Rs 22 crore! That is the top ever for a Karthi starrer but doesn't really come as a shocker considering the present demand for a biggie and that every one his previous five films were super hits.
'Saguni's theatrical rights were reportedly sold by Dream Warriors to Madhan of Vendhran Films.
This commercial drama by newbie Shankar Dayal has Karthi and Pranitha within the lead roles and brings back to special screen the hit duo of Karthi and Santhanam. Music that may be by GV Prakash could be unveiled on May 11.
