After a number one Mumbai tabloid published an interview of the Ulaganayagan where he expressed the revival of 'Marudhanayagam' (that was placed on the backburner greater than a decade back) and him working with Rajini for the same, word spread like fire, of course, for the scoop came as a shock to many as a result of huge budget and several factors.
However, circles with reference to Kamal have denied this. "The interview was given long back. Yes, there are plans to restart Marudhanayagam. But Rajini isn't yet on board."
The Ulaganayagan was quoted as saying that there's a" role in Marudhanayagam that may be ideal for him (Rajini). We've done 10 films together at first of our career, but none recently. No person has get a hold of a project worthy folks. It's as much as me to bell the cat."
"Kamal is currently busy with work on Viswaroopam on which he's fully focusing for he's the producer, director and the protagonist of this film so expectations are greater than ever", they further add.
