A theatre owner in Coimbatore with his projector operator, Sathish Kumar and Mohammed Ali, has been arrested for the piracy of SS Rajamouli's Naan Ee. Satish Kumar is the landlord of Velmurugan Theatre in Coimbatore.
It is claimed that Satish Kumar screened the film secretly even before the film's release and sold its copies to pirates! The pirated version was made available after few hours of the discharge itself.
Starring Sudeep, Samantha and Nani the film is a revenge drama where the hero avenges his death by reincarnating as a housefly, Naan Ee, a Tamil - Telugu bilingual has received good response in all centers.
