It was a sight to be seen. Tens of millions of fans had lined up the roads on both sides leading as much as the Kalyan Jewellers store in Kochi on 19th August where Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had come to inaugurate the store.
A special stage was made anticipating any such large crowd outside the shop for her to handle the fans before she went ahead with the formalities of the launch of the store.
Aishwarya came looking resplendent in an off white lehenga by Abu-Sandeep and spoke to the crowds.
She then alongside Malayalam superstar Dileep inaugurated the jewelry store after which addressed a select invitee list of guests and media where she spoke about her reference to Kerala which she addressed as God's Own Country.
Speaking in this the Kalyanaram family informed their guests that the television ad shot with Aishwarya has broken records on the web with over 2 lakh hits within 4 days and likewise agencies like Agency FAQS, Exchange4media have all listed the ad as top-of-the-line this year.
Aishwarya was accompanied by Aaradhya in this trip together with her mother Mrs Vrinda Rai.
