It is now said that Jai could be seen in a cameo role in Simbu aka STR's Vaalu! Remember the duo are good pals off screen? It is usually said that Tollywood ace comedian Brahmanandam might be seen in Vaalu. Jai also plays second male lead in Simbu's gangster flick, Vettai Mannan. Vaalu, amusing riot slated for Diwali release sees Simbu and Hansika Motwani within the lead roles and has comedy by Simbu and Santhanam, the hit combination of Vaanam could be repeated on this film through these two. Simbu who's shooting the climax dance sequence of Podaa Podi in Mumbai will join the Vaalu shoot in Chennai shortly wherein Jai's cameo can also be shot. The film is helmed by Vijay Chander.
