Photon Kathas, the production wing of Gautham Menon is producing 'Thanga Meengal'. Director Ram of 'Katradhu Tamil' fame is helming this project aside from playing the lead role. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and lyrics by Na Muthukumar. The film dwells at the delicate yet beautiful relationship between a father and a daughter in a unconditionally unseen light. "Taare Zameen Par, the Hindi blockbuster lead me to look for a script with a societal concern, it was in this opportune moment that Ram came to me with this extraordinary script and him having understood the nuances of the script struck me because the best lead for the movie, Ram is being ably supported by Rohini and Padmapriya and i'm really glad to provide a film of this genre" says Gautham. "The music of the film would definitely enthrall audiences. An anthem for youngsters will make parents and the society at large sit up straight and take notice because it dwells into the realms of the present education system, examinations and teachers. This will surely be the anthem for all school children" quotes Ram.
