Vijay completes TWENTY YEARS in Kollywood

Illayathalapathy Vijay is completing TWENTY YEARS as of today in Kollywood. The actor has completed 54 films on this time and has delivered several hits periodically within the Tamil industry. The actor has just completed his success run with Thuppakki after delivering another hit within the type of Nanban early this January.

Many of Vijay's films have went directly to become hits. The long list of flicks include Poove Unakkaga, Love Today, Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, Priyamudan, Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Kushi, Priyamaanavale, Friends, Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Sivakasi, Pokkiri, Kaavalan, Velayudham, Nanban and Thuppakki. After the setting the stage on fire several times over the years, you could have a look at Vijay's career and be impressed by his statistics of manufacturing hits. Despite several names appearing off and on Kollywood, the actor has managed to stick on target along with his films and continually hold on his own together with his growing selection of fans.

Starting tomorrow, Vijay will begin his 21st year in Tamil cinema, and his next project is opposite Amala Paul with Director A.L.Vijay. Let's be patient what number of more milestones this guy can touch during his career.


Nayanthara does a photoshoot with Udhayanidhi Stalin

Actress Nayanthara was reportedly excited by a photograph shoot with Udhayanidhi Stalin recently. The development was conducted by the watchful Venkat Ram, who shot pictures of the pair together prior to their film together.

It was earlier reported that Nayanthara can be teaming up with Udhay in his next film. The project is to be handled by Sundarapandian fame Prabhakaran and the shooting schedule will begin this January. The actress was initially called as much as feature in OKOK, Udhay's debut film, but declined the role as she was taking a break. Now that she is back in K-Town, the actress has put pen to paper for the project. The photo shoot comes as a sign that work will indeed begin soon at the film. We will be able to soon get to look the primary look of the film featuring the lead pair!


ARR concert to add 10 new faces

One of the talking points of this season have been A.R.Rahman's concert in Chennai at the 29th of December. The concert titled "Thai Manne Vanakkam" is being organized on the Nehru Indoor Stadium and can be telecasted by an incredible television channel. As part of the program, the organizers are planning to conduct a talent hunt and select five winners to accomplish in the course of the show with ARR himself.

"We've got conducted auditions in Trichy, Coimbatore and Madurai. We have short listed 40 contestants to this point. Ten singers can be given a possibility to rock the stage with the maestro. The contestants are below 15 years of age. It is going to be a golden opportunity for the youngsters to accomplish with the legendary musician" said Boophthy, who may be hosting the live event.

This may well be an ideal chance for young and talented singers to showcase their skills and get picked by ARR for his concert. With any luck, they may just become the following Karthik or Naresh Iyer.


Karthi sings for Venkat Prabhu in Biriyani

Actor Karthi who could be featuring in Venkat Prabhu's next film, Biriyani, is probably going to do greater than just acting for the film. The actor was recently at Yuvan Shankar Raja's studio to join a composition and Venkat Prabhu has confirmed that he's going to indeed be singing a song. Karthi and Premji Amaren may be doing the song together, in what's going to be Yuvan's 100th film soundtrack.

"Karthi is a fab singer! We always jam up isaignani songs within the sets! Karthi and Premgi did a great job! Super threesome track" posted Venkat Prabhu happily on Twitter. He was soon joined by Premgi, who said "Karthi and me singing the longer term super duper ultimate mega hit song in BIRIYANI !".

It is to be noted that Karthi has previously featured in a song in Paruthi Veeran. This time around, we will be able to be seeing him having much more lines. Seems like he'll be joining the likes of Vikram, Vijay, Simbu, Kamal and other leading actors who've lent their voices for songs of their films.


Vijays next to be called Thanga Magan?

Illayathalapathy Vijay, after the success of Thuppakki have been busy engaged on his next project with Director A.L.Vijay. The project which was untitled beforehand has finally gotten a tentative title in line with reports, so as to be "Thanga Magan".

Vijay can be sharing the screen with Amala Paul and Santhanam within the film that's currently being shot in Mumbai. Cinematographer Nirav Shah have been roped in to address the camera another time while G.V.Prakash Kumar may be composing the music. Reports have already confirmed that the actor might be singing a song within the soundtrack after his success with the mic in Thuppakki's Google Google. Vikram Prabhu goes face to face with Vamsi Krishna

Vikram Prabhu has good reason to be excited this week as his debut film is about for release and can be hitting the screens at the 14th of December. However the actor may be busy engaged on his next film Ivan Ippadithan.

Reports have now confirmed that he'll be taking up a Tollywood villain within the project within the type of Vamsi Krishna. The versatile actor will prove as a worthy adversary for Vikram Prabhu in line with sources. The film is being directed by Saravanan and is produced by Lingusamy's Thiruppathi Brothers. We will be able to expect to listen to more from the team soon.


Ajith-Tamannah film gets a pooja

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Ajith's next project with Siruthai Shiva may have Tamannah within the lead. The actress is coming round again to Kollywood after she was recently busy together with her projects in other industries. Now, the project was kicked off successful with a pooja.

The event was attended by Shiva himself and in addition had composer Devi Sri Prasad who might be engaged on the film. "With Director Shiva on the pooja of Thala Ajith's new film in my studio..!! Loved the narration of Mr.Shiva's story.!!" posted DSP on Twitter confirming the happenings. The movie is anticipated to be an all out Masala entertainer and can have Santhanam handling the comedy track. just as he did in Siruthai. With Ajith quickly seeking to wrap up his work on his film with Vishnuvardhan,  we will expect this film to begin rolling towards a release date earlier than expected.


Sundeep makes a move to Kollywood

Actor Sundeep who has previously been related to Director Gautham Menon will soon be creating a move to Kollywood within the film 'Yaaruda Mahesh'. The actor is eager on creating a good impression along with his efforts.

The movie is being directed by Madhan Kumar and has Dimple Chopade playing the lead. It also has the likes of Jagan, Srinath, Livingston,Uma Padmanaban, Swaminathan, Singamuthu and Nellai Siva supporting the lead.  Expected to be a naughty romantic comedy, we will have our eyes in this one to peer developments shape up.


Rajeev Pillai praises Illayathalapathy Vijay

The hot- hot hunk Rajeev Pillai who appeared in Malayalam films earlier might be making his Tamil debut with A.L.Vijay's next project and can be Illayathalapathy Vijay's villain. The actor has took the chance quickly and spoken in praise of his co-star who's on a roll after the massive success of Thuppakki.

"It may be too early to show more details. Vijay's look within the film continues to be not out. All I WILL BE ABLE TO say is that I play Vijay's right-hand man," says Rajeev. "Vijay is the sort of down-to-earth person. I'VE stumble upon many small-time actors or even debutants with numerous attitude. However, Vijay is rather like another person at the set. Once after the shoot in a school, I saw him sleeping on a bench. Despite being a superstar, he doesn't even use his caravan to take rest," he says.

Raghava Larencce and Taapsee in Muni 3

Reports have Raghava Larencce may be teaming up with Taapsee Pannu next within the third version of Muni. The actor-director-dancer has already produced two blockbusters with the former films and can be carrying the logo forward. It has also been confirmed that a script is set for the film and that the shooting will commence shortly.

Tollywood producer Bellamkonda Suresh might be making the film under his banner. He'll be pinning his hopes at the movie, after delivering successive loses in his last two films Shakuni and Brothers. He's confidential that Raghava Lawrence would be the right man for the job. "WE'RE sure that Lawrence goes to deliver another blockbuster. The shooting would commence from December," said the producer.

After the thrilling effects of Muni and Kanchana, we will expect another interesting prospect in Muni 3. After all, Raghava Larencce does appear to have the fitting success formula.

Vijay to spend another 40 days in Mumbai

Illayathalapathy Vijay was seen within the streets of Mumbai in his film Thuppaki. The actor supposedly spent a big a part of the film's schedule in Mumbai along side Director A.R.Murugadoss. Now that the film have been declared a hit, the actor has got to work on Director A.L.Vijay's next untitled project opposite Amala Paul. Now, sources have confirmed that the team will indeed be visiting Mumbai for the shoot.

Vijay might be spending 40 days straight in Mumbai hoping to finish a big part of the film quickly and in an easy manner. Director Vijay's usual crew has been roped in for the film, including cinematographer Nirav Shah and music director G.V.Prakash Kumar. Looks as if Vijay has grown keen on the town already having spent a significant portion of the year at Mumbai. We're yet to look if his next could be shaping up like Thuppaki. Only time will tell if it does.

MPMK – Vasanth back with Yuvan for a musical treat

After creating a thrilling impression with 'Satham Podathey' in 2007, director Vasanth is back with a bang with a romantic musical this time.

Starring Arjun, Cheran, Vimal, Muktha Bhanu and debutant Surveen Chawla, 'Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal' (MPMK) currently is claimed to be at the last lap of its shooting and and then the post production work will commence.

In this Vasanth joins hands with composer Yuvan Shankar Raja post their association in 1999 for "Poovellam Kettuppar" - a movie which gave Yuvan his first musical hit. Promising to be refreshing and feel-good film, MPMK carries Vasanth's trademark of mixing impressive storyline with soothing music. The audio launch is scheduled to be hung on 1st December at Park Sheraton Hotel, Chennai.
